I mostly use Motul for all fluids, but sometimes Redline and Amsoil. The Bad: small rust holes in front of rear arches Here's a link to the initial build of this car that was done at PDM Racing: http://www.pdm-racing.com/features/AE86_buildup.html Before I did the engine work and when it had a regular worn bluetop with PDM cams this car was a 2X DSP Autocross champion. It has dominated most 86 track days and autocross days locally as well. Since the build at PDM I sold my hatchback AE86 to fund my engine which was built at Garage 5 and has about 2000 kms on it now. The Greddy Emanage allows you to bump up the redline and I was planning on doing that when I got cams and more tuning done with the engine (with cams the port and polished head will really make a difference). Right now the engine runs perfectly and has been street tuned with stock cams. I don't have dyno numbers. The difference between this car and many other 86s out there is that everything that has been done to it has been of the utmost quality. I believe it is the only car with custom rear coil overs welded to the spring perch as well. On top of that the chasis is as straight as an arrow. Here are some pics to get started: http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...ly_15_2006.jpghttp://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...ly_15_2006.jpg http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a.../Rear_psgr.jpg http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...erior_Dash.jpg http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...parco_Seat.jpg http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...Supsension.jpg http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...d_Calipers.jpg http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...ear_Brakes.jpg http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...Suspension.jpg http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a.../Konig_T1S.jpg http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...ig_Wilwood.jpg http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/a...dtop_front.jpg Some of these pics are a bit dated but the car is pretty much exactly the same. I will try to get more updated pics soon. The only thing that I can think of now that's different is that the exhaust tip has been shortened, angle cut fireball style and moved to fit in the proper location under the bumper. A new high flow cat was installed at the same time. Zenki Lip, STB, and CF hood have been sold. $9,900 obo. PM me with offers. |

I'm tellin you man. Sell yours and buy mine. You KNOW how much work has gone into this. Then get some cams, tune it, cage it and wide body it. Your done. Or at least those were my plans until now. :haha: |

ttt willing to trade for 600cc motorbike (2007 or newer) + cash |
Any offers? Here's a video of the car autocrossing at an all AE86 day. I hit some cones in the vid but ended up getting ftd at the end of the day anyway. This is with the old bluetop motor with cams. The new motor kills this one without cams. Don't worry, I haven't raced with the new engine at all, so no rev limiter action on this engine! http://s196.photobucket.com/albums/a...ocross_web.flv Summer is here! I'm entertaining all offers now, so PM with yours. |
