The guy is all tattie'd up from head to toe in gang tattoos..

IMO that is the perfect message to send to all his homeboys lol. Not only will you get arrested, but you will get a kick to the head. Sounds like a good campaign slogan to me.

Would be different if it was some regular joe just getting arrested for some other reason.

Follow up? Regardless of wether he deserved it or not, there should / will be displinary action against the officer.

I don't think kicking part was necessary.

The suspect was lying down, cops would've caught him no problem without kicking him.

Exactly, I was trying to remember the last time I got chased, kicked or arrested by a cop then I remembered I play by the rules. I'm not saying the cops should go around kicking people in the head but if this guy isn't breaking the law running from the cops this isn't happening, he brought it on himself.

the judge isn't going to do anything to him, so someone does.
actually, that's why north america is the best place to live. if you were in africa, china or any poor ass area. You can be completely innocent, but a corrupt cop can kick your ass and just say you assaulted him first.

cops can come to your house, beat the shiet out of you, plant some drugs and you can get in shiet.

These cops deserve to get fined/ penalized. Cops are suppose to be role models for citizens, they shouldn't be doing this type of shiet.

I can understand if the guy was being really aggressive and threw a few punches at the cop. but come on, the guys on the ground. we have laws to protect us, whose going to watch over the people with power?

fuck it, you sound just like the criminals. "Cops should kick this guy and do worst to him while he's down", thats something a criminal would say.

Evading police officer with a 3000lbs weapon isn't agressive behavior? Everyone is overlooking the seriousness of a police chase...one little mistake can cost the lives of the officers and civilians.

I agree with those saying he deserved the boot.

Think of what he just put the cops through: A dangerous car chase, followed by a on foot pursuit. There's a lot of possibility for bad things to happen there such as a car crash, or the criminal pulling a gun while on foot. Being a cop is high risk enough. Going through this sort of crap just makes the job that more dangerous. He deserved it.

Also, look at how he's all tatted up with gang stuff. These guys are anchors to society and have zero respect for cops.

He deserved it. Its not like they were just trying to question him about something, they chased him around for some reason, and the only reason he gave up is because he knew he was cornered. He didnt resist? WHAT DO YOU THINK A CAR CHASE IS? FUCKING IDIOT WAS TRYING TO GET AWAY FROM THE COPS FOR BREAKING THE LAW. If he WASNT causing a car chase, none of this would have happend, simple as that. Im not saying I have never broken any laws, but nothing that would constitute running from the police in a vehicle.

It's one thing to believe that the guy "deserved it", but it's another thing to believe the cop, or anyone for that matter, has the right to deliver it.

The people hurt by his past actions can claim that right. The cop can be their proxy.

the guy deserves the kick as much as the cops deserves to get fired
and wen i mean he deserved to be kicked i dun mean it was right for the cop to do it .. the cop had no right to exert that as punishment .. thats for the judge to decide .. cops job is to serve and protect not to open a can of whoop ass on anyone he thinks deserves it

The problem is, other cops see this and feel inspired, and suddenly its not an obvious criminal(I'd see this guy on the street and cross to the other side), but its a pastor in a car that gets the boot, or its the guy in the apartment next door. Maybe its a guy in an airport holding a stapler.

It's safer to just not use random violence.

This is like punishment without a fair trial. Even if he "deserves" the kick, why is it up to the cop to deliver the punishment when there is the judicial system which determines how severe his punishments should be based on his crimes.
