Alby 05-19-2009 10:14 PM

anything over 20mil i buy one ticket with quick pick. heard chances of quick pick winning tickets have better odds than picking your own numbers.

the chances of 6 consecutive numbers are astronomically higher than 6 non-consecutive numbers.

gave you lotto advice, i'm entitled to at least 50% if you win

Well, only because there are so few combinations of 6 consecutive numbers compared to non-consecutive numbers... but 1,2,3,4,5,6 has as much chance as any other six number combination, consecutive or not...

lol bad choices
even if that hits, theres about million ppl who play those same numbers just for 3 winning number = $10, so you'd be spliting the jackpot million ways

last year one of the winning number had 4~5 consecutive numbers from the back end. nobody won the jackpot but there was about thousands of 2nd place winners(5+ 1bonous). they only got paid one thousand each. usually, 2nd place pays 100k+

Has 6/49 EVER gone past $49m?

Picked some random numbers over here. Usually I do Quick Pick.

Anyone know if they do the draws electronically now, or if they still use those balls in the air-powered machine?
