It's like the Mac of hot dogs. You get the same thing with a few fancy toppings, but in the end you'd feel like a retard for paying 6-7 bucks for a hot dog. They even have their own fan boys who swear it tastes way better than "regular" hot dogs. :| Sounds like a mac.

i've had a fafillion hot dogs in my life. ketchup and mustard gets old. even a decent spot with some grilled onions or sauerkraut gets old.
enter japadog.
also, are you saying that every single hot dog cart in vancouver serves the exact same weiners? that's what you're insinuating. did you also forget that a place like japadog has such high turnover that you get a relatively fresh dog? whereas joe blow might have that same package going for far far longer.

It's a hot dog for god sakes. Who the hell cares if the sausages were made from the finest bull testicles. Would you buy and use designer toilet paper? No, because in the end it's still toilet paper. You act as if hot dogs are some exquisite rare dish from the far corners of the world.

do you know the difference between a honda civic and a bmw 7 series?
both get you to work/school/home. yet one is vastly more valuable and superior then the other in nearly every way.
just wondering if you would be bitching and moaning at every 7 series owner that they could have saved money by buying a civic.

when i used to work near robson, there was this one street dude everyone raved about and across the street another one, who i mistakenly tried. Felt sick for the next 5 hours and the meat tasted like beef-flavoured rubber!

SERIOUSLY. THE PANCAKES WITH THE BROWN SUGAR IN THEM. HOLY SHIT, I'VE NEVER TASTED ANYTHING SO AWESOME.
If you didn't understand that, the pancake place at the end corner last year was amazing and cheap for those delectable pancakes that the grandmother made. It was awesome.

So your argument does not stand. Quality hot dogs is an oxymoron. It's like being rich among beggars. In the end, you're still a bum.
