to be honest, i think the condensed air is not the only cause of the puddle. is the problem even fixed? if not, it's like paying $38 for him just to drive over but not fix it. i personally think his attitude wasn't friendly, but i'm not familiar with repair costs...

_Hotsauce_ 05-24-2009 11:03 AM

Most big places will charge upwards of $60 to just have a look. Stop your bitching.

Hondaracer 05-24-2009 11:18 AM

i guess he was right in saying ppl like you are cheap/get tricked easilly... lulz..

and really $30 for being ignorant to the fact of water is condensing on a bag and dripping is fairly good, like others have said you could have been had for wayyy more money

Durrann1984 05-24-2009 11:40 AM

well c'mon guyzzz...

what if the repair man said that to ur moms...

The7even 05-24-2009 12:55 PM

did he bang your mom after the "scuffle" ?

Bonka 05-24-2009 02:38 PM

The fact that your mom had to call a repairman likely means she couldn't fix it herself.

Ignorance cost your mom $30. Could be worse.

RFlush 05-24-2009 02:56 PM

This sounds like a start of a porno. Did your mom refuse to pay the $30 and instead offer some special service as payment?

if he told my mother over the phone saying .. yes its 30 dollars even if i come in and take a look.. i rather him trick my mom and replace a filter for 30 bucks then do nothing
and FUCK YOU u could've jus not read my post shit face

I'm gonna take the neutral ground and think there's two sides to this one.
An ordinary person, let alone repairman, wouldn't go out of their way to spite anyone like this - especially a customer.
The information being presented is only from one side of the conflict, and therefore it is illogical for any of us to label that company as rude/bad service based only on the OP's comments.

As a side note however, the grammar and language was both horrible and filthy. Instead of simply treating it as an eyesore, I found it refreshing and self-assuring that I was likely far more educated and refined than the OP! Ha!

ctsport 05-24-2009 03:32 PM

Your rant gave me a headache.

+1

An honest guy like him is hard to find these days...

Agreed. But then again it doesn't make the customer "feel good" right. Paying $80 for the minimum $30 charge + $50 for a "filter" and "hose cleaning" would've probably gained a life-long customer instead.

any HVAC guys on here?

3xta 05-24-2009 07:30 PM

did it fix the problem?

lulz

AzNightmare 05-25-2009 12:40 AM

The problem wasn't fixed. He just basically explained what is going on for $30.

impactX 05-25-2009 06:12 AM

What are you bitching about?

I could have given you 30 bucks and you still wouldn't know what to fix. Takes knowledge to know what went wrong and that's what that 30 bucks was for.

muteki 05-25-2009 06:23 AM

Someone's never taken law.
They're allowed to charge you industry standard for coming out and checking it for you.
You think they're just going to come for free?

hotjoint 05-25-2009 07:41 AM

what he charged u was cheap but the way he went at it could be debated.

pandalove 05-25-2009 08:27 AM

guys guys i am not bitching at the price
i dun like how the guy approach my mother and how he justified the payment of 30 dollars
i dont mind paying the guy 30 dollars if he said so on the phone that his rates are 30 dollars to come

impactX 05-25-2009 08:48 AM

On the other hand, your mom didn't have to pay him the $30 if she didn't want him to tell her what's wrong.

Gridlock 05-25-2009 10:55 AM

That is exceptionally rude and he was being a bigot. What would a normal person do?

"I have a minimum half hour charge on all issues"

No need to call her cheap and be rude about it. Whether I vacuum the condenser or replace it, I'm charging you half an hour to start.

he said it was 8 dollars for him to come take a look and see whats wrong
he said 30 to fix it
i don't know why is it so hard to understand is not about the money its about how he is fishing for it and then he claimed that he could've tricked my mother in order to get payment

Because your initial post is a piece of unreadable garbage.
