Im going to wait another week before i buy more USD, i love this fluctuating dollar, im sooo happy i sold all my USD at 70cents 3 months ago

I usually check vbce.ca's site. They probably provide the best rate in town, and they actually provide you the buy AND sell rate, rather than the mid rate that sites like XE show you. You won't be able to get that rate if you walked into your local bank and asked to buy at that rate.

I"ve noticed my bank charges 1c on top of the VBCE rate. (BMO)

They both charge you a USD to CAD conversion fee in the exchange rate, I haven't paid too close attention but I think the paypal exchange rates are slightly better than my CIBC Visa's.

it's terrible but still better than CC

paypal has an option to either let them do the conversion or your CC.
i tried it with CC and it was 1.5-2 cents higher than paypal.
