I don't see how we're beta testers. L4D 1 was complete, and didn't have too many bugs. L4D 2 isn't a release to correct issues with the first one. It just expands on what made the first one great. Along with a bunch of other people here, I only paid $25 for it when it went on sale.

Ch28 isn't alone in his accusation tho. I've been reading about similar sentiment all over the web.

A lot of people (including myself) are pretty upset at this "sequel"

We were promised significant content after the release of the game (just like most multiplayer oriented Valve games) and weren't offered them. It took them how many months to put out the SDK for the public to use?

The game is coming out ~a year after L4D was put out which means they basically started work on this game once L4D was complete. So much for the promises of significant content :mad:

You know, I've seen Downfall and that scene actually isn't all that interesting. I have no idea why people keep using it in vids like that.

if you think about it like a sport game (a new game every year) then it's not so bad!

the player in those vids is a newb. You reload faster when you use melee (right click) while reloading.

they should of at least waited like a couple of years b4 releasing left 4 dead 2 or at least what others have mentioned, and expansion.

now the wait for it to be released

as much as i want to test this out, im waiting till this game reaches $20.
