The 2 of them don't even compare. 328i feels and is an entry level BMW. 335i is a beast in terms of power and makes up for the additional $200 that you have to pay per month.

Well, it depends what you're looking for in a car. I like a car that delivers some excitement. The 335 and 135 are my favorites among the BMW line up.

The difference between the 328i and the 335i, base model to base model, is most obviously the engine, that the 335i comes standard with leather seats, has a chrome kidney grilles as well as a metal colored accent beside the foglights, standard sports steering wheel, bluetooth, and BMW assist. The 335i also adds adaptive headlights which are not available on the 328i which I think are pretty damn cool.

In terms of a premium, the 335i doesn't actually run that much more than a similarly loaded 328i. The engine is definitely a riot in the 335i and especially if you get the sedan, the car is still very subtle.

My vote would be for the 335i

an entry level BMW is still a BMW, and what about this car feels second-rate? How can you say the car looks and feels entry level...

^ no, an entry level BMW such as 323i doesn't deserve to wear the BMW badge, it's just for people who want the status symbol but don't really have the $$
I wouldn't call the 328i entry level.....but having driven both the 328i and 335i (and ending up going for the latter), the 335i definitely feels tighter and way more powerful....if you are going for the auto transmission the 335i has ZF transmission whereas the 328i has a GM transmission.....the shifts on the 335i are much much quicker, totally feels different
But like I said before, why don't just go for a test drive with both cars? Nothing said on the internet by others can replace what you feel personally when you drive the car

I think what he's trying to say (and has been said many times) is that
most girls cant tell the difference...

Example scenario:
Girl: where's your car?
You: That one over there *points*
Girl: Wow, you drive a BMW??
You: Yeah...but this is the 328 model... *regrets leasing a 328*
Girl: huh? anyway, so we're going back to your place right?

Is the rattle from the valve assembly during pressure release?

no really...heres a VERY brief explanation.

blowoff valve bleeds off excess boost when your throttlebody valve closes (when you shift gears/ let off the gas pedal)....

a wastegate bleeds off excess boost when you're boosting to your max setting...( keeping max. boost level in check)

...compared to a 323, no it doesn't save much gas.

Compared to a 335, it saves a lot of gas.

The torque rating on the 335d is unreal. I would say it would make the ultimate freeway cruiser.

Dunno how much the diesel is better, but mine 60 liters go just over 380-400km in city, and just did a road trip to edmonton/calgary and i was getting over 600km on highway.
