It would hugely reduce the strain on the public health care crisis we are facing, lessen waiting time and improve quality for BOTH public and private sector.

Even our legal system is based on such similar design, people who want to pay hire their own lawyer, otherwise, the crown appoints one to you for free.
If we can do this on our justice system, why can't we do this to our health care system?

The US and Canada is stuck on opposite sides of a ridiculous tug of war for popular opinion.

Canada is terrified that privatizing would result in getting the American system with all its flaws, and vice versa for Americans. So neither side is willing to bend.

One of the major problems with the Canadian Health Care system right is there are too many immigrants that are freeloading!!!

fuck you know what I'm talking about. I know it sounds racist, but it's true. There are many asian immigrants that do nothing to contribute in terms of taxes or being a positive contribution to their communities. They come here and suck out health care system by freeloading and taking advantage of it, causing our lineups to be even longer.
