I really don't know what it is though. Is AV employing an overly defensive game and strangling the team's offense unless absolutely neccessary (last minutes of the game). Because it seems like the only time the team starts to open the game up.

Was just watching CBC news and they are saying of the about 700+ players in the league, 120 are injured. Thats crazy.

I hate to bash on Wellwood but he really has to start producing.
A quarter of the season is almost over and he only has 1 point to show for.
Give him credit for the fact that the linemates he has been playing with are 3rd-4th line grinders but seriously, 1 point in 15 games is not going to cut it on a team that is supposed to be deep in depth.
Steve Mason has 2pts
Anderson, Turco, Varlamov, and Ward all have 1 point. They are GOALIES!
We have all seen what Wellwood can do last year after getting put on waivers and called back up. I am not saying we should put him on waivers but sit him for a game or two and let him see the game from another perspective. He needs that extra gear. Because right now, the only difference between all of us and Wellwood is one point.

There's a reason why the Leafs got rid of Wellwood and honestly he was playing for a contract last season so that's why he gave that extra effort. I doubt we'll see that effort ever again from him.

I didn't even watch the game today... when i found out the score was 1 - 6 i was like how the hell did that happen. Then i saw the highlights and Luongo was playing.
Luongo has really sucked! so far this year.
If hes going to keep sucking trade him... so much for the 12 year deal.

Lol, I still remember Sopel's face when he tried to explain that injury to the media.
And I shouldn't really use the word "hate" because hate is such a strong word. I just have a issue with his temper and the fact he's always trying to do too much with the puck. All he needs to do is control his temper and get back to basics but it's easier said than done.
