NOT A GOOD IDEA...

Even though flames lost today and yesterday they got 2 points. HATE loser points

Hondaracer 01-28-2010 08:43 PM

im confident in the nucks, although a game like that is typically a close game or even a let-down, i think nucks will come out huge on saturday and take it to them

Nucks are better than the laughs in every area, i think they can win if they play 75%

spoon.ek9 01-28-2010 09:14 PM

our last outing against the leafs wasn't dominant at all. however, we're playing much better than we were before. i say we win! screw toronto :D

orange7 01-28-2010 09:57 PM

Flames -> 8-game losing streak
Oilers -> 12-game losing streak

this Saturday -> one of them end its losing streak and the other gains another one.

at least this Saturday will be a good turning point for one of the Canadian teams.

orange7 01-28-2010 10:04 PM

I think I'll be watching the flames vs oilers this Saturday. That is going to be one fun game to watch.

Leafs are a fun team to watch. Some nights they play pretty good, other nights a minor team could beat them. In a nutshell the Canucks should be able to beat them. The Leafs have awful goaltending so Canucks need to fire as many shots on net and the Leafs have one of the worst PK's the NHL has seen in years so Canucks need to take advantage on any PP's they get during the game.

Flames have actually lost 9 in a row.

Alberta teams have lost a combined 21 games in a row.

He might become a franchise goalie in the future but right now he isn't worth the hype.

anyone know how point spread works?

Take Van vs Tor as example : Van is - 0.5 Tor is +0.5

lets say the final result is van 4, tor 3 ... Van 4 -0.5= 3.5, Tor 3+05.=3.5 ???

I thought there is no tie in point spread , im a bit confused...

and oddly, i bet 11 games in the last menu, and i got 10 out of 11 games right .. 2 dollar got me $24 dollars... if i got 11/11 then 2 dollar will get me $750

fliptuner 01-29-2010 08:17 AM

-.5 means the Canucks start the game .5 points behind. If you bet on Van., they have to win by 1 or more for you to win.

1)
ok...if the result were Canucks 4, Leaf 3 in regulation...Canucks won ??

and

2) (Shoot out is excluded)
for example.. Canucks 4, Leaf 3 in shootout, does that make Toronto to win in this case then?

1. if you put your money on the canucks and they win in Regulation then you win the bet.

2.I'm pretty sure that if it gets to OT/Shoout, that is considered a TIE.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong please

There is no TIE in "point spread" ( that's why im so confused with the point system )

there is TIE in "oddset" and Tie is only consider when the game went into Shootout.. unless when its playoff then OT consider as Tie
