It's beyond a stupid move on the part of Kane and hurts his image and the NHLs image plus the news is everywhere including TMZ, lol so I'm pretty sure Bettman is foaming from his mouth right about now. And yes he's young, has a lot of money and loves to party but seriously you can't go around and assaulting someone for such a stupid and immature reason like not getting your full change back.
Now he's going to end up paying the cabby god knows how much, maybe in the millions, and face possible jail time. Not really a bright move on his part and from I've read on various hockey blogs and local newspaper postings, this guy, his family and friends are the biggest pricks around town so I guess in some way’s he deserves all this and maybe it’ll settle him down.

Wow the other day I was at some store and they ran out of pennies and couldn't give me my 4 cents change back... I just smiled and said it wasn't a big deal... I mean, it wasn't TWENTY cents mind you, he didn't deserve a full-on beating, but now that I think about it I should have at least tweaked his nipple.

I for one don't believe that just because someone achieves success, one is also obliged to take a heavier social role.
