Lower Mainland parent groups lobbying school boards for Mandarin Immersion courses

i was in french immersion and its a great program to take up another language/culture. imo, if they were to h ave this, they should only offer it those with no chinese language background.

They should make the program for people that don't know mandarin. Well going through the whole ESL process is difficult and frustating, which usually ends up with people in adult school, people should still learn english. We're in Canada, an english and french speaking country, but the thing with most fobs is that, even if they learn english they still use their native language way more.
