Authorization wouldn't go through, then he's like "sorry, this one should work" and hands me his titanium black amex...

According to him, the trick is easy, he used to charge all the company related expenses that can be paid with CC on a single card, he has been log-ing some serious amount on his card because he's a sucker for CC rewards. And then he just get reimbursed by his own company... when you charge most of travel/company expenses of almost EVERY employee, it's not really a difficult task.
Basically use a personal account to log a company expenses.
I used to dream that by the age of 40, I want to get a Ferrari or some supercar in that category, but now the dream is to be offered a Centurion card without the company trick. | I thought that was illegal. Business visa's make sense and are more efficient once your company is a certain size. However a lotta small to midsize companies still just let their employees do the reimbursement method. Our company used to do that and apparently the guy who used his credit card for all big company expenses got enough miles for abuncha free vacations and stuff lol

No really if you consider all the free stuff it gives you. For company that has people flying out frequently, they actually save money. On several airlines, they now only need to pay economy class and their employees (usually executives like VP) fly business.
And if your company get visited a lot by clients, the AE Concierge for Centurion members is top notch. They can get virtually everything.

Sign up through greatcanadianrebates.com (you have to sign up and it's free) and get an extra $40-50 back. Be patient as it can take a month or more for them to process your application.
No annual fee. When your points reach enough for $50 they automatically mail you a cheque. Be sure to call and ask them not to send advertisments or sell your information to 3rd parties. I have not had a single piece of advertising from them or a 3rd party since I did this.
This is a no brainer guys. Everyone should have this card.

Sorry to bring this one back up but I was thinking of getting a visa (+my mastercard)
My mastercard has been compromised 3x this year and now I won't get another card until about Jan 10.
Needless to say, everyone should have 2 credit cards because i am screwed over the holidays without a mastercard.
Anyone know of any good visas?

The AMEX Black card is no longer exclusive. You can sign up for it, don't need to be "invited". Well at least in HK it's easy to get and I am sure Hyde has 10 of them. Regardless, I know my boss has one and my friends dad, and they are not super ballin so I am assuming it's not that much of a "OMGWTFBBQ" thing anymore.
As for me:
Used to have RBC Avion card but the fees sucked now I use HSBC Premier and SCB Platinum and Hang Seng Enjoy Card Platinum.
HK credit cards suck compared to Canada as they don't offer crappy rewards. Even having 1% cash payback is good compared to the stuff here. Although here, if you spend over a certain mount (easily achievable) when you first get your CC, you can get a welcome gift which is pretty decent. Also, a lot of shops and restaurants give various discounts to certain cards so you can get like 15% off all dining or 10-50% off all shopping at a certain mall.

I do want a decent VISA card though... | I should be a sales rep for MBNA ha. I have a TD Rewards VISA 1% cash back no annual fee as a back up in case the MC is not accepted or becomes compromised.
Cheapskate: You're welcome.

| Just signed up. Will use this for gas & groceries, Visa for everything else
