Where'd you pick that up and how much? I tried looking for it last year, only places that had Canada Goose were Holts & Sportchek but none of them had Chilliwack

Heart & Soul on Granville near Robson.

Just picked this up today at Holt Renfrew... 408.XX after taxes if I remember correctly.

As of today, no more S and M in Black / Charcoal.
One medium left in Navy

The rest are large / xlarge / xxlarge

Talked with the salesperson and they told me that its been around for about two months and received 3 shipments... so its unlikely for another to come, hopefully everybody that wanted it got it already!

damn I was thinking about picking up this jacket too

anyone else know of a similar jacket? Basically looking for a military style peacoat like this

I would say depends on height and physique. I can never find the right trench cause I'm short. I just think they look better on taller people.

t8v6 10-23-2010 11:46 PM

pea coat is has a more classic and trendier look. trench coats look better on women. but that's just my opinion. to each their own.

i just got a pair of 7's slim a couple weeks back in vegas and they feel amazing!
But too bad doing squats have caused them to feel slightly tighter than they were intended to be....

Nice sweater, have to keep in mind it might not look as good unzipped and you'll strictly have to wear it zipped up.

Wrath Arcane has some very similar styles to that if anyone is looking.

You can always find a peacoat that flares out a bit at the bottom (quarters?) to help you look taller.

edit: this is what i'm talking about, notice how the waist and how the peacoat doesn't end up looking "boxy "

hongy 10-24-2010 08:39 AM

I'm 5'10.5-11 if that helps

aliuu 10-24-2010 11:50 AM

Yeah, I was planning on having it zipped for the most part haha

I bought mine on ebay : http://cgi.ebay.ca/Mens-Hombres-Ride...item1e5f45234f

If you do intend to buy make sure you buy at least one size larger

do they fit really tight? ordered mine in medium but im pretty pins not sure if im xs, normally a small oops LOL

filth 10-24-2010 08:07 PM

trenches are good for fall and spring, if you want something warmer then get a peacoat...

im not that tall and i like my trench more than my peacoat, too many dudes out there jumpin on the peatcoat bandwagon (even if its a classic) and their doing it wrong by buying ones that fit like shit and look cheap. If you want a trench and your short just make sure it doesn't hit past the knee and end at the mid thigh.
