BR i assume is banana republic? quality wise i wouldnt be able to say. but fit wise, its designed for fat fucks (for the most part)

Energie...cant speak of their polos. theyre probably juts made offshore with some logo stamped on it. quality is probably like any other brand

i know their jeans are absolute shit though in quality and durability. that might have some correlation to their polos

Not always. Banana Republic has different cuts and you have to watch the labels. Usually it's a toss between "regular" and slim fit. You will know it's regular when you see something like "16.5R."

Their overall quality has increased dramatically over the years but if you do enough shopping around, you could get something a tad nicer for the same retail price.

I got them from ark clothing http://www.google.ca/url?sa=t&rct=j&...z12mDL6lEG1XSw
and I got charged $24 duty from fedex.

I don't know what you mean by the cuffs though, I don't feel like they're hard. They only have smalls though and only the ones with the fleece lining. If you want the netting, try below the belt in downtown/metrotown.

Yeah the fleece lining is the Polar Windcheater while the mesh lining is the Technical Windcheater. The polar is more heavier and thicker by far and you can easily scrunch up the Technical in a ball.

$24 duty isn't that bad, was it declared at the full retail price or was it knocked down?

HondaGuy 08-06-2012 03:27 PM

Got me some more dress shirts for work and a jack and jones bomber jacket for fall season.

Nice to get discounts :)

Way more than that I remember. For the buckle alone it's that price or more. Plus the leather belt, depending on material and size.

I would say it's about $1500 at end of the day.

Hermes offers a cashmere sweater in a colour very close to that, it's $1200 though.....

Hermes, played out? No way.

Hermes still produces some of the most beautiful and high quality products in the world; truly exceptional handbags, clothing, accessories and equestrian tack (the companies only product line for the majority of its history). To the few people who appreciate, can afford, and are willing to spend big to receive that degree of quality, Hermes, is certainly not played out.

What's played out is posers buying Hermes belts solely so they can rock the H buckle and feel like ballers, especially those who opt to buy one in the signature orange colour just so it will stand out that much more.

StylinRed 08-11-2012 06:43 AM

oh wow you're right thanks

if I get desperate or they go on sale ;)
