Unless you're an aboriginal person or of aboriginal descend, I think you should "go the fuck home" too. We're all immigrants here and we can hardly criticize China for what it is at the moment.

China is hardly at the same technological/industrial level that first world countries are. By comparing countries like the US/Canada to China is like comparing the modern man to cave men in terms of evolution. Give them some time, China is developing at a HUGE rate (and so is India) and soon enough, you will be able to make that comparison but not just yet. Besides, Canada and the US are huge polluters as well. The US consumes a HUGE portion of the world's resources. And as for having "way way way way too many people", India has the same issue.

Honestly, after watching this documentary I have stopped eating shark fin soup. But my parents are too traditional so they still eat it, but only at partys where they have to show face so they eat it so they won't disrespect the host. But otherwise, my parents don't eat it anymore because I've educated them.

That's just Western prejudice. There's nothing wrong with eating other animals besides beef, pork, chicken, turkey, etc..what's the diff?

- Whale meat is delicious, and at least the Japanese utilize the whole animal.
- Tuna is being overfished in general, not just by the Japanese. The Italians and other Mediterranean countries are taking so much tuna from the Mediterranean Sea that the Mediterranean Bluefin may be extinct in a few years.
- Not sure why you mentioned dolphins...they're not endangered in any way. Not sure why people eat dolphin either, as I have tried it. It's really gamey...much worse than venison.
- bears may be mistreated, but is it any different than the chickens in egg farms or baby cows raised for veal?
- Dogs are a dime a dozen and apparently good. It's just again Western prejudice and ignorance. Just because an animal is cute, you can't kill it and eat it? Granted, I love dogs and I don't think I can eat one myself, I won't judge someone that does. I wouldn't mind trying dog just for the hell of it though.
