yeah i mean with the semi fat chicks <150lbs? It's sorta acceptable, but for the >200lb women... Not like taking off a layer of clothes will help, maybe take off a layer of fat...

In London, men wear suits in the Tube where it can reach well over 40 C on some of the trains. No AC and hell, no windows to open.

In Italy, the Italians continue to wear black suits in +30 C temperatures.

Harvey Specter 07-29-2009 10:36 PM

Boiling right now.....I love the sunny and hot weather but man this is way too hot.

LOL, actually I was in London last year around this time and I had to take the tube on the hottest day of the year and my god was it awful.

In India no one wears shorts, everyone wears pants and half sleeve shirts. It could be 40+ and you won't see any guys wearing shorts or women wearing skirts.

hypediss 07-29-2009 11:37 PM

speaking of suits, saw this on the giz a while ago...

yea, no one in europe wears shorts at all. only tourists.

as for the suit wearers, lightweight wool actually isnt that bad, assuming they're just moving from one AC'd building to the next. although ive stopped wearing a jacket to work and no one seemed to care...the heat makes rules lax.

I notice that all the larger women are the ones who choose not to wear bras haha

It's hotter here in Vancouver than it is in Honolulu!! :eek5r:

300 pounders on the bus with booty shorts and a tanktop drinking an extra large slurpee. gotta love it.

StylinRed 07-30-2009 12:56 AM

it was 40 degrees in my neighbourhood today

and 22 in my house :)

Armind 07-30-2009 02:04 AM

Man I loved it when it was 23 degrees and sunny. This is way too much for me =(

alex.w *// 07-30-2009 05:55 AM

Well, it's true - no self-respecting European wears shorts unless he's at the beach or is playing sports. When I was over there, I didn't bring a pair of shorts either. I wore jeans in +25 C temperatures just like everyone else.

If I had known better, I would have brought loose-fitting linen pants. It wasn't until I got back to Vancouver that I was able to get out the stench of sweat from my jeans.

hotjoint 07-30-2009 09:07 AM

portable AC FTW :)

InvisibleSoul 07-30-2009 09:12 AM

Man... too hot to continue sleeping on the bed by 8am. :(

JSALES 07-30-2009 01:58 PM

i envy the people with pools in their backyards

Durrann1984 07-30-2009 02:00 PM

another record broken today in vancouver

is it true this is hotter than asia?
minus the smog

Harvey Specter 07-30-2009 02:03 PM

Maybe hotter temp wise but Asian countries have a different type of heat which would make 25c seem hotter compared to our 30c.

!Yaminashi 07-30-2009 02:08 PM

Not sure if anyone else has noticed, but our seasons are getting more extreme
4ft of snow, 30+ degrees consistently, crazy storms..

Imagine what it'll be like 5 years from now..

1337 07-30-2009 02:14 PM

Wore a suit today for work.
