it's way too hot, i wake up sweating a bit. i think i rather sleep outside tonight haha

twitchyzero 07-29-2009 01:59 PM

should I post pictures of Vancouver in a foot and half of snow from just a few months ago?

Seriously this weather is gorgeous. It only sucks if you take the bus and have to cope with stench.

JSALES 07-29-2009 02:02 PM

it sucks because the buses here don't have AC unlike the skytrain

i rather enjoy this weather than the snow

slammer111 07-29-2009 03:06 PM

^ Is it just me or the weather in Vancouver is getting more "extreme" over the years? As in hotter summers and colder winters compared to, say, 20 years ago.

JSALES 07-29-2009 03:09 PM

i thought the summers sucked a couple years back becuase it would get cold/windy at night forcing me to wear a sweater or something at night but it seems like it's getting back to the regular hot summers as before

ilvtofu 07-29-2009 03:13 PM

Damn woke up at 3 in the morning cos it was too hot...
During class today my sweat evaporated quicker than it was produced XD

jigjag 07-29-2009 03:47 PM

Friggin nuts, i heard we just broke the all time hottest temp recorded at YVR;
What a year, we have the most extreme winter ever, followed by the most extreme summer. Crazy.
Human nature is to complain tho, when its too hot, we wanna be cold, when its cold, we wanna be hot.
btw, a block of ice placed in front of a fan does pretty good.

Lovin' it, except my black truck w/ black leather seats, ouch.

cheers,
gonna hotbox one tonite just cuz it'll be the hottest hotbox ever done in vancouver.

K-Dub 07-29-2009 03:48 PM

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - It's now official...Vancouver has set a new all-time temperature record of nearly 34 degrees. The past record was 33.3 degrees - set August 9th, 1960.

The humidex reading for YVR topped 38 degree, and of course it is a few degrees hotter away from the water and downtown.

skyxx 07-29-2009 07:54 PM

The sunny weather is good and all but the heat is horrible.... wtf feels like 37 degrees at 9pm....WTF.....

Lowered_Klass 07-29-2009 08:03 PM

I love the sun and heat, but this is getting to be a bit much. Even with my portable AC chuggin' away, it's STILL friggin hot unless you're sittin in front of it.

Can't even open the windows cause it just feels like you're opening the oven door... :(

Synaptik 07-29-2009 08:14 PM

the problem with all these girls wearing next to nothing, is that the fat ones are doing it too. :(
