Tim Burton and Johnny Depp... again.. i think they have some sort of homo-erotic relationship...

Id actuallly wish someone else was casted as Mad Hatter.... im a big fan of Depp but im getting a little tired in seeing him in EVERYTHING

Depp looks scary as mad hatter

SkinnyPupp 07-24-2009 09:51 AM

This is going to be fucking awesome.

Depp + Burton = epic.

quasi 07-24-2009 10:51 AM

If I had 0.0025% of Depps bank account I'd never have to work again. The guy pumps out movies like there going out of style and most of them are blockbusters.

It's normal. A lot of established directors out there have their preferences for their primary actors.

hal0g0dv2 07-24-2009 11:13 AM

that is going to be good

unidentified 07-25-2009 04:23 PM

Really, really looking forward to it.

murd0c 07-26-2009 02:06 PM

I couldnt see anyone else playing the mad hatter, depp is the man for roles like this.

sas 07-26-2009 05:05 PM

I can't even recall the last move I saw in theatre's but I am very much looking forward to this.

iEatClams 08-04-2009 01:32 PM

I actually have new found respect for Depp, I thought his last movie was just okay (public enemies). But he's played some really cool and diverse characters:

Edward scissorhands - plays a dude with scissors for hands.
Blow - plays a drug dealer
Willy wonka
From Hell
Finding Neverland
Once upon a time in Mexico - i really liked his character in this movie.
Corpse bride
Donnie Brasko - undercover cop.
Pirates - pirate
Public enemies - plays another gangster

mother fucker has done everything

I really hope he gets cast as the villian if they ever do a Batman 3

StylinRed 08-04-2009 01:41 PM

^^^^^ have you seen "Secret Window" ???

its an aweeesssommmmmmeee movie

John Turturro is great as well... totallllllllly makes you go "wtf is he doing comedies?"

woob 08-04-2009 04:44 PM

don't forget Sleepy Hollow and last year's Sweeney Todd as well. I haven't seen Public Enemies yet, but my fave depp movie is Sweeney Todd so far. He's good in Pirates, but I liked him more in Willy Wonka... but then Sweeney Todd just iced the cake overall

anyoone watch this yet? showings in theatres was yesterday

murd0c 03-06-2010 02:28 PM

My sis saw it in 3d yesterday and said it was really horrible.

jtanner_ 03-07-2010 05:04 PM

I found that overall the storyline/plot was sort of boring... but everything looks amazing in imax 3d

keifun 03-07-2010 10:33 PM

looks creepy...

ra1nn 03-07-2010 11:14 PM

watched it yesterday and it sucked!

stuff99 03-07-2010 11:40 PM

Saying it sucked is going too far. It was a decent movie and visually fascinating. The plot was thin though.

azzurro32 03-08-2010 12:57 AM

Saw this movie without hearing about it for more than a day, and I thought it was entertaining. Some funny parts, but also pretty predictable. Also movie felt pretty short. I liked the 3D more than avatar at times. I was almost ducking objects lol.
