If not, go to a dealership and get a brand new FWD car and do a burnout, let me know if it wheel hops.

Yes you can cause the wheels to spin in a minivan, yet they shouldn't hop. Wheel hop means your suspension cannot keep the tires to the payment, so either the minivan has a shitty suspension (possible) or the suspension is worn and needs replacement (more likely).

Think about this: if you have wheel hop on hard acceleration, what's going to happen under hard braking?

All 911's get wheel hop from hard acceleration.

i fucking hate heavy rain. the on ramp to hwy1 from braid had a giant puddle in the curve covering the whole lane, like a mini lake. slammed car so i knew if i went slow i would fuck something up big time or get stuck. i couldnt turn around cause traffic behind me and island so no uturning. after about 10mins of contemplating what to do and having people honkin at me i launched through it like sub 1.6sec 60ft type of launch. WOT and hope intercoolers dont get soaked or shit doesnt hydro lock. it was like mosses going across that sea. the lake split in half as i went through it. car behind me got stuck in it going slowly through it.

^ uhh ur afraid of ur intercooler getting wet?????

Where is your intake located that you're so worried about hydrolock?

jlenko 08-14-2009 08:56 AM

You guys with wheel hop need better tires, to start with.

Its funny how many people on RS complain about slippery roads and spinning out in the rain.

I assume that people here should be able to control their damn cars better than C-Lais in their AMGs.

Yet i dont see that many AMGs upside-down or in the ditch in Richmond........weird.

OK which one of you fuckers hit and run my cars last night?

Not just you, i'm sure most of us experience the same. It was pretty nasty that morning. i was going at 45km/h and i hit the brake when i see yellow light. My car was all over the place.
