I can't tell you how many times I have watched men swagger up to my girlfriends and I in an attempt to charm us with their rugged good looks, intellectual capacity and the ability to buy us drinks after drinks only to be denied again and again. It’s not because we’re snobs or prudes (face it, a nightclub is one of the few places we expect to get hit on) but because most of you make it blatantly clear that all you care about is whether or not you’re going to get lucky at the end of the night.... Instant turnoff!

To acknowledge the many men out there who genuinely need a little advice, I’ve decided to break girl code and share with you some tips and tricks on how to pick up girls at a club. It’s all about the 3 A’s gentlemen…

Approach

Do not go use any lame one-liners that you read off the internet. Give us some credit here. We know what you’re trying to do so be direct in your approach. Either come up to us and ask if we want some company or if you’re a little skilled in the flirtation department, ask a question that requires a response. The worst you’ll get is a no. Do not be rude or ignorant if you get rejected as chances are very high that you’ll bump into us again within the night. Be remembered as the cute guy that tried as opposed to the dick who can’t take rejection. Cute guys always get a second chance where dicks will never.
Attitude

Please don’t cop a “you’re-so-lucky-I’ve-chosen-you” attitude – we can spot a rat a mile away! Be genuine, attentive and most importantly fun. We love a guy who can make us laugh so avoid heavy topics such as cheating ex-girlfriends, religion or politics. Don’t forget to make eye-contact with us either! We hate a guy who can’t keep eye contact because it sends the message that you’re not interested – big mistake. I’ve said it once, but I’ll say it again, be genuine! Don’t pass yourself off as some hoity-toity executive when in reality you’re the manager at the local Mickey Ds. Save yourself some embarrassment cause we’ll always find out.
Ask

Don’t be afraid of asking us things. Ask us if we’d like to dance, ask us if we’d like a drink, ask us for our number. Do not assume anything so ask instead. The worst that will happen is we’ll say no. If that happens, remember what I said about rejection.

While I’m not guaranteeing a 100% success rate with these 3 A’s, it will at least up your chances significantly.

And one thing is, it's kinda contradicting, most guys have one thing on their minds and that is getting that poon, so if we're being geniune we're just letting u know we want in ur pants. No bs, just cut to the chase, buy u drinks, bring you home, do the dirty, kick u out. So that's being genuine for some guys.

lol agreed. Garbage advice. Other than, the eye contact thing. The don't be offended thing SORTA applies, keeping your cool is pretty vital.

Approach a girl like it's your buddies friend if you have a hard time approaching someone. Talk to her like you already know her. Talk to her like she is already in your circle. Introduce yourself. Ask her how her night is going, where she's from, what she did today, what she's up to tomorrow. Ask her who she came with (get her friends to mingle with your friends). Once you can do that you are in for the night. Ask her if she wants to dance later on. Ask her what she's drinking and if she needs a top up. Simple. Be yourself. Be casual and be honest. Get her to laugh and she will listen to you.

These are what works:

Being good looking
Being funny (entertaining)
Being rich (if you're not, pretend)

If you dont have any of the above, then lower your standards Cassanova and stop aiming for 9/10 or 10/10 chicks. Not even Physixxx's magical guide book is going to help you with that.

I wouldn't say the girls are 9s or 10s in any of the pics. The girls hanging off the guy are 7s. The last one on the right could be a solid 8. The rest are all 4 to 6.

You don't need to be rich to pick up a girl. And if you pretend, you're a bullshitter and won't get far with her anyways.
Of course, that depends on how you define rich.

Being able to support yourself financially--having a steady job, having a car or a house, having some savings. These things don't make you rich, but they make you attractive.


edit: but yes, I do agree that you need to be entertaining and attractive.
