Actually there is something you can do about the dog. You can let city hall know about it and they will send like some sort of animal unit to your house to investigate if the problem is bad enough.

It's happened to my girlfriend. One day someone from like animal control representing the city came by and told my gf that they had to be quiet or else risk a fine. And if it continues to be a problem he might have to confiscate the dogs. Keep in mind that these are big dogs.

I remember back in the Buy&Sell days, when the paper came out on Thursday mornings, guys would literally wait for the papers to get deliver to the local stores, sift through them and make their phone calls at like 6:30 - 7am.

Anyways, one time I found this albino monkey in the free pet section (I was looking for a dog at the time). well, some guy were throwing pieces of raw fat (those ucut off when u prep ur meat) at my dog. Needless to say, my dog ate it before we could get rid of it. After a couple of times, my dog got soooo sick.

gas kills the grass and it'll turn brown, spelling out the words slowly as the days go by

put ad on Craiglslist as "male seeking discreet male encounters" or "bi-curious male seeking discreet encounter", "free shit, just come on down" etc.

mass prank, hmm, you shouldn't call hookers as that wastes other peoples time, you need to make this impact him, and him alone.

also, you can phone in and complain about the dog if it's loud past whatever the noise bylaw is, usually 11pm.

the 11pm noise bylaw is a myth. the actual bylaw (for kelowna anyway) says that at any time if noise is a problem, you can complain. it actually reads:

3. GENERAL REGULATIONS
3.1 No person shall make or cause, or permit to be made or caused, any noise in or on a highway or elsewhere in the City which disturbs the peace, rest, enjoyment, comfort, or convenience of the neighbourhood, or persons in the vicinity.
3.2 No person being the owner or occupier of real property knowingly shall allow or permit such real property to be used so that noise or sound which emanates therefrom, disturbs the peace, rest, enjoyment, comfort, or convenience of any person or persons in the neighbourhood or vicinity.
3.3 No person shall play or operate any radio, stereophonic equipment or other instrument or any apparatus for the production or amplification of sound either in or on private premises or in any public place in such a manner as to disturb the quiet, peace, rest, enjoyment, comfort, or convenience of the neighbourhood, or any person in the vicinity.
3.4 No person shall own, keep or harbour any animal or bird which by its barks, cries or sounds unduly disturbs the peace, quiet, rest, tranquillity of the surrounding neighbourhood or the public at large.
3.5 No person in the City shall on any day before 0700 hours or after 2200 hours construct, erect, re-construct, alter, repair or demolish any building, structure or thing or excavate or fill in land in any manner whatsoever which makes, causes noise or sounds in or on a highway or elsewhere in the City which disturb or tend to disturb, the quiet, peace, rest, enjoyment, comfort or convenience of the neighbourhood, or persons in the vicinity.

that law seems kinda dumb. it starts off saying you can't make any kind of noise, at any time, and then goes to you can't make any noise, past 11. wtf.

correction, only con/de-struction past 11. I think you can only get a ticket past 11 though, unless something is INSANELY loud.
