So, if you had sixty seconds to talk about Audi, what would you say?

The challenge that Audi faces in the U.S. is well known: we need more premium-segment consumers to know our brand
and products, and to add Audi to that final shopping list when they are in the mood to buy a new vehicle.

Audi is successful. Across nearly every market, including here in the U.S., Audi has emerged as one of the most exciting
stories in the automotive landscape. AUDI AG posted its 13th consecutive record of year-over-year growth in both

sales and profits. In the U.S., Audi’s market share – a measure of consumer awareness and confidence – is at record levels.

So, if you had sixty seconds to talk about Audi, what would you say?

M5 > R8

hk20000 08-25-2009 11:45 AM

I would sing this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lBLDpv4DAw

for 60 secs. But it has nothing to do with an Audi. I just sing it so maybe I get hooked up to become next American Idol ROFL.

iamaudi 08-25-2009 12:16 PM

Good luck with American Idol.

silk 08-25-2009 12:20 PM

ilvtofu 08-25-2009 05:02 PM

Dear audi, your cars aren't priced to compete in north america... end of discussion

EDIT: you could take a lesson from Jaguar about pricing with the new XF

Great68 08-25-2009 05:11 PM

I would tell them that they should be ashamed of some of the shit they produced in the 80's...

pandalove 08-25-2009 05:13 PM

dear audi,
ur cars are expensive and ur electronic breaks within a month

skyxx 08-25-2009 05:24 PM

Wow you guys are all so harsh :lol Audi's aren't that bad!

Anyway, today's lesson is

Asking for opinions on RS will always lead to negative feedback.

vexor 08-25-2009 05:27 PM

^^^ yes they are that bad, don't u remember that A4 vs the BMW 3 series that we tested? we both hated it

anywya, Audi: Safe, Soft, for Cocks ... (yeah TG influenced me on that)

skyxx 08-25-2009 05:31 PM

^ That road test was bias towards BMWs but yeah i guess that's true....

!SG 08-25-2009 05:46 PM

i have nothing bad to say about audi's.

just that they are a bitch to work on!!!

godwin 08-25-2009 09:30 PM

I am sure most people on RS have something positive to say if Audi signs them up for something simliar to the "Fiesta movement"

alex.w *// 08-25-2009 09:42 PM

wayyy too many sensors, once something is wrong, too many pop ups in the cluster making it so annoying

Spaceship_coupe 08-25-2009 10:25 PM

[sarcasm]I want to thank Audi for introducing the LED drl. It is because of this company that everyone is running to Ikea and buying led strips to mimick this "cool" look. Also, thank you for the random CEL here and there. It makes the not so smart bring their vehicle to the dealership to spend their moneys to make you even more profitable. Lastly, thank you for the ingenious logo as I firmly believe it costs 4 weddings (the 4 engagement rings) to keep a B5 S4 running in tip top shape [/sarcasm]

Pt20 08-25-2009 10:53 PM

No comment on my A4.. has never caused me any problems.
I am however, in love with the overpriced R8. Just a guilty pleasure. ;)

sulos 08-26-2009 11:48 AM

no thanks

xpl0sive 08-26-2009 12:56 PM

lol whats with all the audi hate? how many of you posting in this thread have actually owned an audi? every car has things that need mainentance and things break, thats the nature of cars... i've had 3 audi's so far, and all of them have been great cars. i can drive my car in any weather. it never has left me stranded. i'm sure all your beloved BMW's need just as much service and maintenance, except the interior in my audi is a million times nicer and i can actually use my navigation and climate control and dont have to go through a million options with the iDrive. anyways, audi's like most things that come out of germany, are over-engeneered. they are jam-packed with technology, and when it works, the car is awesome. sometimes things do go wrong, but they are never hard to fix. audi's are great cars, they might not always be the fastest, but as an overall daily driver, they are great cars... if you're looking for a drag-car, go buy a 5 liter.
