Well the s2k's are still counted as the Honda class. The highest hp s2k was one of our technicians. His did 360rwhp @ 16psi with pumpgas and meth on the stock high compression engine.

TheSalesman 09-01-2009 12:07 AM

you need an all motor 4 cyl, 6cyl and 8cyl...or more.

Oooo, so tempted. Too bad there's no Mazda or Ford category. Either way, I'm sure I can probably get a couple guys who are in the midst of tuning Megasquirted turbo cars to come out.

Out of curiosity, are the pulls consecutively or can we do one pull, do a bit of tuning for half an hour, then do the next pull?

Unfortunately the pulls will have to be consecutive, no time for tuning.
Dyno Rental is $100/hr if you're tuning yourself.

Damn. Well maybe we'll get a couple of preset tunes ready so while the engine cools and the computer spews out the data we'll be able to do a quick change. At least this way we'll be able to test out a couple settings.... hopefully. lol

Muskys SS 09-05-2009 02:17 AM

If it's quick changes like adjusting boost, adjusting an safc, or uploading a new tune, that will be ok.

Yup, just flashing different tunes onto the chip. Takes literally 5 seconds to do. :D

Question: will smoothing be applied to the charts?
like this: http://www.powersportaviation.com/im...yno%20data.jpg

or will it be raw with all the peaks and dips?

if the pull is clean, then it will be smooth and if not we can adjust the smoothing to you're liking.

Bath Tussue 09-06-2009 11:17 PM

Actually, I am asking because I want it to have all the peaks and dips.
I am still in the process of tuning the car, and want to know where the knocks are.

Brody Howell 09-08-2009 01:51 AM

Im gunna try and get there! Can't wait.

RacingGreed 09-08-2009 07:14 AM

The dyno has smoohing function (0-99).

We usually don't use it for the same purpose, to se peaks and dips.

But, we can do it to your liking.
