I have to agree, the X6 looks weird....but I think that is part of the appeal....just like the look of a 911 porsche or first gen Saabs....

I would rather they shove that 4.4L twin-turbo V8 into the X5, at least the X5 is a SUV, not something with an identity crisis. Am I a SUV or a Coupe? I'll be BOTH!!!

Just axe the X6 already!

it may be ugly... i thought it was ugly when i first saw it... now i like it... and countless reviews after reviews have said it is the first SUV that truly feels like a sports car... handles and performs amazingly well...

Completely off topic, but how much is your Tourag OTD? does it have the air-suspension found on the V10 TDI?

You guys think the X6 is bad?

Check this out:

Apparently, there'll be a 7 series GT as well..

Interesting enough, Audi won't be selling the the 5 GT equivalent here:

The S5 Sportback

Not sure what the price will be... will be negotiated when it arrives in october... but it is a full load so the VW MSRP on the website with all options will give you an idea...

Unfortunately VWoC has decided not to include Air Suspension for canadian models. The Best you can get is the Sport package that has a "sport suspension" and upgraded wheels.

If it had bags I would be tweeking the system so it would ride lower... I love the air suspension on my Jetta GLI (its aftermarket obviously) so I would be very happy having it on a touareg... but alas VWoC is not the brightest when it come to making decisions...

In the end they are a sports car company and within the VAG portfolio there are so many brands that fill the niche that the Cayenne and the Panamera fit... Panamera takes business from Audi, Bentley and VW and soon Lamborghini if they produce the 4 door saloon. Cayenne takes business from VW and Audi and in the end they are cannibalizing their own market with the addition of Porsche.

Porsche should go back to what they do best... producing Beetles with crazy handling and power!
Id so soddy. Im not on this board too often as i try not to rain on anyones parade; it was a complete failure on the crosswind test at highway speeds so its probably going to take a longways back when that happened. Im not surprised one could get out of a rut with some 195 winter treads.

with the vw's V10 TT diesel Touareg and 500+lb torque at 23mpg highway fuel economy, its not a surprise they'd cancel the cayenne

This article is funny. They say they are ditching the Cayenne because it doesn't fit the Porsche image. That's like McDonalds ditching the Big Mac. Then they say they are making an entry level Porsche.. something below the Boxster. Well they designed and built the Boxster because they wanted an entry level Porsche. So they already have the entry level car and they are ditching the money maker. IMO the new Cayenne's are friggin sweeeet
