I don' think people are post whoring...more often than not on RS people will post that a thread is a repost - it is what it is. If anything, they are giving your thread a bump making it viewable to more people.

I know what you mean, but from my standpoint, i think that after 20 posts saying its a repost, you should know when to stop and rather not join the bandwagon
