so skinny pup big guy u are enjoy ur creatine and ur size medium reflex shirts

I dont think anyone is arguing that if you have the choice between food or taking creatine you should choose creatine. lol
I also dont think anyone that is posting on here is stupid enough to pay $30 - $50 on creatine. Hell half the times I've gotten creatine it was free when I ordered my protein or else it was like $10 for a lb or 2..

I think my favorite part in this thread is the guy talking about how because Nitrous 5.0 was the biggest person at his gym that meant he knows what he is talking about. Maybe he does.. Maybe he doesnt. Reading his posts on here I'm gonna go with option 2 though.

those of you recommending the biotest one.
It's cheap on the tmuscle site, $12.95 USD

but wtf man I have no choice but to choose between FedEx International Economy ($21) and FedEx International priority ($24).

How the hell you guys get it? No fucking way am I paying close to double the price of the product just for shipping. Man sometimes I wish I lived in the states.....free Fedex shipping damn!

I can't find it on supplementscanada or SVNcanada either.

I'm thinking of considering this:
https://www.trueprotein.com/Product_...d=91#Nutrition

because I'm gonna make a big TP purchase soon of whey, waxy maize, and (maybe) creatine...
anyone have any ideas about TP's creatine mono by any chance?

assuming thats a flat fee, maybe you should hold a group buy for it. i'd be down...im having trouble finding any places that sell Biotest Creatine

SkinnyPupp 10-09-2009 02:32 AM

Biotest creatine is no better than any other good creatine. It's not worth going out of your way that much. Prolab is a great alternative, and you should be able to buy it at any store.

Have you changed your workout routine in those 2.5 months?

Now SkippyPupp will post articles stating that you don't have to change your routine, there's no scientific evidence, just guidelines. I'll agree, there's no compelling argument, I personally find doing the same routine gets boring and I plateau, changing it up motivates me to focus on strength building in different exercises.

Its not all about science and supplements, some of it is in your head.

Are you working forearms?

They are usually the first muscle to plateau preventing you from handling heavier weight, and one of the most overlooked muscles to exercise.

mgarba 10-09-2009 01:30 PM

Creatine gives me diarhea sometimes, I still take it, but it clears my bowels like something nasty.

Eat my shit you fuck. I would never post a stupid article like that. Changing your routine is extremely important.

DragonChi 10-09-2009 09:30 PM

what do you guys think of "high power" creatine monohydrate?

the one from bodybuilding.com, the site seems to endorse it, and it's pretty cheap.

SkinnyPupp 10-09-2009 09:36 PM

They endorse it because it's their brand :lol

I personally wouldn't trust it. Every time I try cheap creatine, it sucks. Either bad gas or diarrhoea, or it clumps up right away and becomes unusable.

DragonChi 10-09-2009 10:51 PM

I'll go with that prolab if you say it's good.

Any other brands would be helpful too. thanks in advance

Well im obviously not going to gain 20 pounds instantaneously from a certain label. The price isn't bad.

Some good points there. But yes changing routines is good mentally and in a sense that it will stop your muscles from adapting to the exercise

Yes and its not all about the science and supps, but you cant argue against the fact that they will push you further along

Forearms. Yes. I will need to do more than just jerkoff as i do notice it being the weakest link at times

blkgsr 10-13-2009 12:22 PM

i love how creatine is seen as being for muscle heads....i guess that true enough but creatine is nothing

start on some AAS and then see what happens

LOL I wasn't expecting that response.

I've read a bunch of articles and I'm on the fence. Marathon runners get better by simply running more, ie doing more of the same without change. Having run a marathon I agree, sprints and hills didn't make as much of a difference as just getting out there and running longer distances more often.

I personally like the idea of changing it routines, whether science supports it or not, its boring to do the same thing over and over.

Correct. Although we can argue how much they'll push you along. :D

I'll bet you $5 that stronger forearms will make more of a difference than any supplement.

I moved up huge in chest press after I started working forearms. One of the football players at my university suggested it and he was bang on. He had 3 simple exercises:

Tricep pull downs. Use reverse grip, keep your thumb on the same side as your fingers.
Bicep curls. Use reverse grip, keep your thumb on the same side as your fingers.
Standing hold with dumbbells. Like should shrugs, yet just standing holding the weight at your side until failure.

The reason for the reserve grip and thumb on same side is to put all the emphasis on the grip, no cheating using your thumb or palm as leverage. I like to do these exercises quickly and super set them.

i like to walk laps around the gym when i do these, the mild jolt from each step owns you

DC5-S 10-13-2009 05:38 PM

go to homedepot and make you can make a wrist roller for 5 bucks.. this thing gives your forearms an insane pump.
