Clubs in Vancouver are garbage anyways.

^ Many actually aren't bad when compared to other cities. The biggest differences between Vancouver and the rest of the world imo is a) there are lots of "gangstas", and b) they seem to enjoy making everyone deaf. Is it really that hard to turn down the volume a notch?

Off topic here, but anyone know any good loungey places in Vancouver where you can actually hear the other person talk and not have to guess every other word?

Maybe you are right, but from my experiences, Vancouver clubs (gossip, boss, fabric) are nothing compared to clubs I have been too in Korea, Beijing, HK and even in Seattle.

Having to wait inline in Vancouver when the club is empty inside is a joke. Playing the same top 40 music over and over again gets quite annoying. Not being able to exit once you go in is the most retarded shit ever. The whole atmosphere is so bad. Girls who think they are top 10 models when they are 18 year olds with heavy ass make up. Guys who think they are the leader of the triads. And then the guys who really are gangsters and start shit if you dance with one of their "girls" or something.

Overall, just an unfriendly atmosphere, something that a club should be totally opposite of.

I've been to asian clubs in Seattle, SF, and LA and I don't recall any of the experiences that RFlush mentioned about Vancouver clubs happening down there.

It's not even so much of the asian club experience in Vancouver. The nightclub scene here as a whole is just shitty. Anyone who has clubbed outside of Vancouver in other major cities can understand where we come from.

if youve ever been to any clubs outside of vancouver you would understand how shitty it is here. Try going to a club in europe or even montreal thats how clubbing is supposed to be no ahrdcore gangsters wanting to start shit cause you danced with "his girl" music is good. Las vegas has some great clubs too
