One of the best vacuums out there are the Rainbow vacuums. They use a water based filtration system and it's absolutely amazing. Super powerful, built like a tank. My parents bought one due to my mom's bad allergies, and it's really helped. It's a bit of a pain overall to use because you have to empty the water tank after every use, but the bloody thing rocks. The one big problem is that it costs $2500 - which is why we haven't bought one yet, and we just go borrow it from them once in a while.
what??? i brought my canister water based filtration vacuum for $45! that thing was super ugly tho. (red blue black plastic)
but it works amazingly well and powerful.
Having to fill the vacuum with water everytime u use it is quite annoying tho...for example, sometime you just want to use it for 2 seconds to clear up some dust.
Not really. To me, the only improvement one could make to a floor-standing fan would be to make it silent. Dyson not only completely failed at that, but actually managed to make it noisier. Yeah it looks all whacky and everything, but it's not significantly better in any way. I am not convinced that fans are annoying because they "chop the wind". Whatever
So what he has done is find another way to market something really expensive to people with more money than brains. For that, he gets my props
Sorry, but i'll have to agree with him here. Dyson fan is just a gaget looking piece of art, but a 10 dollar fan from china gets the job done too. Also in asia, there are way more "quiet" blade-style fans out there. Dyson really did not improve.
For someone who grew up on the western world, they would've never seen fancy fans from asia (japan, hk, taiwan), therefore this dyson product is truely a winner in its marketing strategy
Just take a look at the rice cookers or portable Air conditioning sold at london drugs/ home depot. Those things are so shitty compare to the ones you see in asian department stores
