well you were luckier than me. if my parents had their way, i'd still be taking transit. instead my first car was a POS tercel. it wasn't anything to be proud of, but it was a car... unfortunately an unreliable one so i ended up taking the bus anyway :cry:

I could give two fucks if someone drives a car that was purchased by their parents because a. it's irrelevant to my life and b. who really gives a fuck. I mean seriously there are too many other things going on in most people’s lives to worry about if some kid is driving a car owned by their parents.

I think a lot of times it's the jealousy that makes people hate those who are powered by parents. Honestly, we all do not have respect for those who are cocky, despite whether they earned the money themselves or they are powered by their parents. The car belongs to them. It is a natural tendency for us to achieve our goals through the easiest way possible. It's not like those who are powered by their parents are taking 9/10 of their parents' total savings to buy an expensive ride... Even if they are, so what? That's their way of life. The world is unfair and those powered by parents simply has a head start.
