| Where do they sell Arcteryx? But, NOT at Coast Mountain
I'm looking to try on Arcteryx Jackets.
Mostly the Insulated Water Proof ones.
I want to buy them online since it is cheaper. But, I need to try it on before I drop $300-400.
Sport Chek/Coast Mountain only has a very limited number of Arcteryx jackets. So are there any other places with a bigger selection? Thanks!!!
I need somewhere soon.

They just had a factory sale in North Van.
But they main headquarter / store is in North Van.
If you get it online only get it from miltary supplies stores, since there are lesser chance of fakes and they now supplies the US military.

lol, you wanna try on jackets that you're going to buy online...
people in the local retail industry must hate you XD
I suggest arc'teryx hookups, you gotta know someone if you're in vancouvr, that's how so many people get fired from there... they hook too many people up with 70% off, i know that's how i got like 4 of my jackets, some with that crazy geo-tagging stuff incase you get trapped in an avalanche... XD

Yeah, fuck it. I'll pay $475 + 12% = $532 locally, when I can get the exact same jacket from an authorized online dealer for $356 CAD, shipped. And that's including duty.

He told me he got a $550 jacket for about $180.
And I don't want to wait for a deal that might never come to me so this is the best I can do.

Thank you, I called them and they have the jacket I want!
Much appreciated. | At least ask them if they are willing to come close to the online prices you found. They might not match it but they might make it close enough that it's not worth your time to buy it online or elsewhere.

they have pretty good clearance stuff on a regular basis. you just have to check it often.
but i'm going to wait until blackfriday. nov 26th i think? i'm sure they'll have a really good sale.
also, you can get 4% cashback if you buy from backcountry.com.
PM me for more details. Quote:

ar jacket is a little longer then the beta line... and they are better than the alpha series imo.the pockets of the theta series is the best...

Backcountry charges 200 USD + duties + shipping which turns out to cost more than if I just picked it up at the store.
I want to buy one of their more expensive jackets and save some money but it doesn't seem possible. |

I also think the fact that Arc'teryx doesn't have a online store sucks because all the online retailers (in Canada at least) have such poor selection.
Also for those wanting to buy Arc'teryx stuff online, don't buy from Altitude-Sports (Montreal). They have a really good selection but their customer service is horrible! The first time I ordered something from them, it took them 2+weeks to ship, so it was almost a month before I got my order lol (they state on their website that it takes a maximum of 2 days to ship LOL). The second time I ordered something, it took them over a week to tell me one of my items is out of stock LOL! Needless to say, I cancel my order and will not be going back.
For those wanting to buy from a Canadian online store, Sportinglife.ca (Toronto) is awesome! The 2 times I bought from them, they ship the same day! They also include a return packing slip just in case you want to return something. This way, it only cost me 10 dollars for shipping a return item, whereas if i had to go through CanadaPost (the cheapest), it would cost like 30+ bux! |

TNF has many jackets that have similar features (just w/o the over-rated Gore-Tex) and insulated with Primoloft One for like 400 bux!
