Featuring "recession-defying luxury, with cabins including 'multi-level urban-style loft suites' boasting floor-to-ceiling windows On-board entertainment will be enough to satisfy even the most jaded millionaire, including the aquatic amphitheatre, handcrafted carousel, zip-wire racing diagonally down nine decks and even what is billed as the world's first floating park. |
wow, I wonder how expensive the cruises will be? |
My parents are going to board this bad boy in January. I wish I can join them :( Looks fun! |
that's massive |
jesus that things nice |
Wouldn't such a large cruise ship be a pain in the ass for shows and stuff? I mean you can't all enjoy the same things because they can't all accommodate right? |
jeesuz there's a freaking grand PIANO in one of the delux suites i want a cruise on that monster :( |

over 4000 passengers easily! I recently boarded the freedom of the seas which is currently the largest cruise ship by tonnage. It is an unbelievably huge ship no doubt. I've been on RCCL several times and by no means, I will one day board Oasis of the Seas! The theater is can accommodate a LOT of people... usually there are two shows, at about 6pm and 8pm. They offer it at those times because there are two dining times so people dining at 6 can make the show at 8 and vice-versa. Think about those azipod engines on there and how powerful they are! And i think there are at least 4 engines to generate electricity... or 6... i forgot but yeah these cruise ships are a vacation of its kind |
hm... i wonder how much those multistory rooms r |
Officially its about 5,500 passengers. Rihanna is performing in mid-late November for a special inaugural cruise for company execs on the 20th I believe. I am going on the one for travel industry professionals right after on Nov 24th. It's pretty amazing, with a zip line down the middle of the ship, an ice skating rink, rock climbing walls, on-board jetskis and a bar that actually elevates up and down between three different decks. It's got five different neighbourhoods with 5 different decors and 'ambiences'. For inside staterooms, cruises aren't that much more expensive than any other Caribbean cruise, starting at around $649 USD for an inside cabin for a 7-day. |
But can you see everything on the boat in 7 days? |
My parents and I just booked one of the last few rooms that they've got left =) Leaving in late February =) SOOO EXCITED <3 |
