i think u should really contact some new channels. ctv or cbc.. we always her about shortage in food banks across the nation specially in these times. And people like this just take advantage.
SOMEBODY needs to take a stance.
If you dont want to do it, let me know, forward me the pictures. and i will follow up with it.
U need to have shots of these people going in empty handed and coming out with bags/boxes of stuff and loading into thr 45K+ cars
for fuck sakes, its like they are stealing food from a homeless /less fortunate persons mouth. and saving up to pay for thr big cars.
edit: SENDING FOOD TO CHINA?? does the food bank know about this. I dont think u can do that?
MAYBE CHINA SHOULD STOP BUILDING SUPER COMPUTERS and start feeding its needy!!! (if that's the case)

Everybody forget the whole "Contact the News" bull. That won't work, whats the News network going to report on? "TONIGHT: MIDDLE-CLASS FAMILIES EXPLOITING THE FOOD BANK". I wonder who is going to get fired at the station.
People who really get offended by this, do something, start a interview crew. Like danizer suggested.
Wait on the sidewalks with your crew with Camcorders and Cameras, wait until those middle class families start walking over to their 45k+ cars, then walk over and start the interview. Make sure to get a good footage of the car, the face, and the bag of foods.
Make some bullshit up, say you guys are doing a University project, topic is "Helping support the needy get through a warm and bountiful Christmas". Interviewers will need to be able speak Canto and Mando of course. 
All videos will end up on youtube and facebook.
We don't need any biased news network to accomplish this.

I wasn't really around from 12-230. Here's all I got in the 1.5 hours I was around.
This woman irks me. She can't drive or park, her baby's stoller is one of those pretty fancy ones too. She's a regular every Thurs.  
Camry guy backed up and parked down the road. 
I think these people were collecting for some Relief Group in China. I saw them with posters when they were bringing food back. 
This asian guy had two boxes. This is after one box got loaded up. 
I didn't get any line up shots of the people waiting in line. Didn't wanna walk out there with a camera and start taking pics considering I'm right next door. Anyways, I just wanted to rant about it. I myself won't be donating nothing anymore myself. I wanna see that X5 and C-Class lady and embarass them though.

So those Chinese 'relief' groups take free food that's intended for locals, and ship it overseas? Or do they 'help' local Chinese families and distribute the food to them.. :/ Either way, if they are some legit non-profit organization they should be fundraising on their own or applying for grants. If they do have funding as an organization but are pocketing the money and taking food from the food bank then that's pretty low... Just an assumption though Posted via RS Mobile | |

can't the food bank check people's id (if they have one) and google map their house? stupid suggestion but are they just handing it out without even asking for anything? i've volunteered in the past before at the salvation army and i could definitely tell who needs it versus who doesn't...most of which who came in (Christmas eve) did need it...

In the Langley costco, samples are on the table and people passing will take ONE. No greedy assholes.
However, there are bad sides to every race. Ones who scam welfare cheques, ones who do insurance fraud, ones that do grow ops and in this case, ones who have no shame and take.
