i dont see whats the problem of ppl earning commission. its like saying your boss will not give u any bonus at the end of the year.

commision is one efficient way to make your employees work harder.

anyways. i will get from whoever gives me the cheapest price. :)

there's no quota's for the employee, just the department. Most of the time the supervisor of the department would be selling everything cause he's the one that's going to get shat on

I recall that there's a thread about bargaining at futureshop when you buy big ticket items. how do you guys approach this?

I am looking for either a Sony KDL52XBR9 or KDL52Z5100

get free PSP? free stands?

thanks!

they make the most money of accesories.

stand that retails for 300+, employee pricing 40-60$

am I giving u any ideas yet.

When someone is making commision off me, it means I'm not getting the lowest possible price. In other words, sale reps who are on commision will try not to lower the price as much so they are able to make more from commision. This is just my theory.

btw, do TV's come with turbos?

no futureshop sale rep make most of their commision from accesories, even if they push alot of tv per day with none of their customer buying any psp or accesories they would most likely not exceed their hourly pay thus not get any commission.

don't expect any of the sales to give you a discount if you are just going to buy a tv and nothing else. the only reason why they are able to give you discount is if you are buying lots of accesories/warranty so they can cut INTO their commission to give cheap assholes discounts and of course if they don't sell enough warranty/add on they will most likely have their hrs cut or fire.

I don't see any reason why sales not on commission ie bestbuy would give you any discount. no commission = no motivation.
