Crazy wind in victoria, lost power at 1 am, till Im not sure when. It was on when we woke up though. Branches and leaves everywhere! |
In my neighbourhood in New West it's 16 hours power outage...c'mon I wanna take a shower:eek3: |
Crazy outside. Just got this tonight. Sorry city of Vancouver worker. |
This morning on the way to work, I saw a bunch of trees knocked over, and some of those wooden frames for the politician signs snapped apart... Came back home earlier and saw new frames and the sign back up in the front yard. :lol |

wow that was a pretty big lake you drove through |
Today around 9:30pm, the rain was coming down HARD. I live near Langara. |

On 49th and Cambie, there's this big puddle of water in the intersection. As the cars were driving fast over it, made this big splash that went up half way up the height of the car. Would have made a cool picture if I could have taken one. |
driving to work today was pretty nuts. still dark outside..when I woke up I had to double check the time |
Drove from BBY to Richmond last night. Probably went through atleast 5-8 lakes on the road.. Especially in Richmond.. Some horrible draining during these big rain storms. |
Holy shit it's raining so hard ATM! |
WHERE ALL THE PUDDLES AT?!? |
|
Anyone drive by Lougheed/Schoolhouse or King Ed? Just wondering if they fixed the sewer system in the area after Lougheed was widened. |
Wipers setting: maximum speed |
Off topic, but man its been beautiful in Cold Laker Alberta area. 10+ degrees and usually sunny. Kinda wish i was home to play in the puddles though :/ |
Winter is coming big snow |
Crazy rain right now. Some parts of North Van are underwater. Rain is going to continue overnight and ease off tomorrow morning. I was out in the rain for a few minutes and was completely drenched. Gonna make for some interesting commute tomorrow morning. |
Lynn Valley is getting destroyed right now, flooding at Argyle Secondary |
Gastown was fucked I had to drink 2 hot toddies simply to avoid being cold |
North Van and Maple Ridge both got hit with flooding (North Van also had falling rocks). Never been more happy that I live on the 2nd floor... Major clean-up effort underway in North Vancouver after heavy flooding; Argyle Secondary shut down - BC | Globalnews.ca |
It's going to get pretty cold this coming week hope everyones got their tyres in order |
Forecasted low of -3°C Wednesday night |
|
Just heard on TV news. "Why you may not need dedicated winter tires this year." Even if there is not snow in the city, winter tires still have benefits. This will surely confuse a lot of ill-informed people. |
