Thank god I chose to leave my car at home today. Was riding shotgun with a friend around Richmond today and good lord, it gave me cancer. It's as if not a single person in Richmond knows what a fucking four-way stop is, and people jaywalking all over the fucking place. Nearly saw two cars get smoked essentially not giving a fuck about non-functioning traffic lights and saw a couple cars smoked already left abandoned at intersections.

our power came back around 8-8:30, just as i was done barbecuing some steaks, at least we didn't need to eat by candlelight

cousin wanted to go to the mall or just 'cruise around' sounds like i made the better choice of just staying in

there was one winter, where the power was out for a whole day/night iirc :heckno: be glad this happened in the summer ;)

I remember many years ago in Richmond my aunt and uncle (and two young children) had to come stay with us for about 4-5 days during winter when their power went out and bchydro was taking their sweet as time fixing the problem

My first place in crescent beach was without power for 3 days around 8 years ago. Also in the winter time. That wood burning fire place was a life saver!
