There's a reason for that. It's actually VERY physically demanding to race for several hours at that level.

if you can call GOLF a sport you have to say poker is a sport.
You see fat golfers all the time, old fat ones. They don't even walk to the ball they driver in a cart there and take ONE swing.
When have you heard someone getting injured playing golf?

When have you heard someone getting injured playing golf? | Have you played Golf? It is easy to get injured while taking a swing. The best player in golf, Tiger Woods, missed alot of time in the last couple of years due to a knee injury.

You're stupid as FUCK if you think F1 isn't demanding. Feeling 2-3+ G's pushing against you for each turn isn't "physically" demanding? Maybe the humid temperatures in Valencia, China, Singapore and Abu Dhabi are pretty easy to endure in fire-suits...right?
The list goes on. You're just an idiot.

I agree with the physical demand of auto racing.
On the poker note, I'm extremely disappointed with the result of the WSOP.
The biggest lucksack won. I didn't see him outplay anyone on the final table - just get lucky everytime he was all in. All in w/ 22 and 33 when he had like 40 BB's? And every time, set in the window. WTF?!?!?!
Overall, the final table was a fucking joke. Not because Ivey, Shulman or Saout didn't win but because it felt like poker (as a skill game) lost. I've only seen about 100 of the key hands played (that weren't televised) but there wasn't any real PLAY involved. It was an all-in fest and the luckiest guy won.

these guys have to be extremely fit and deal with extreme amounts of g's. These guys hit the gym hard believe me. | i agree, you totally need a quick mind and skill sets your average person lacks. Go go-karting and try to perfect that shit, even that's hard .

QFT | Pretty much yeah. I'm sure they know it's physically demanding, only a idiot like yourself would think it's not.
Hell even driving from Vancouver to Whistler or Vancouver to Seattle is physically demanding to an extent but NO WHERE close to the physical demands of F1.

and you can argue that lots of things are physically demanding if you do it for long enough, which was pratt's whole argument about why poker should be a sport.

^ Why thank you
Anyone else see Ivey fold the winning hand when he rivered a flush with his pocket pair, but mucked when his opponent showed only a higher pair? I think it cost him around 2 mil in chips.

Oh hey! Guess you really are stupid and didn't bother to read between the lines. What about this since you think F1 is extremely easy and shouldn't even be considered a sport why don't you try beating the top times @ F440 with the top-karts? Do it for 3 hours straight with no breaks then report back alright?
That's probably 1% of what F1 drivers feel and please keep arguing that F1 isn't considered a sport please...feel free to humiliate yourself more okay? |

One of my drinking buddies is a reserve driver on the F1 circuit, and his training days basically involve 1 hour of running steps, 45 mins of swimming laps, 1 hour of gym/core/weights work and another 1 hour of running. It's not just jumping in a car and driving from point A to B.
