This is a hella old thread, surprised its not more popular with this community..marine drive west bound just before Elliot st hiding in a small alley and just before the bend on Nanaimo st. and marine going eastbound... usually on Sundays

West bound on SW marine drive about 250 meters from where it intersects with 41st ave.

Saw them on Wednesday 26th at about 10:55 am closing up shop

Saw them again today (27th) at 9:00 am.

Yeah saw them too. They don't usually work the North side of Marine Drive. Beware the other side going onto Marine Drive East just before the fork to 41st on weekends. Two women Motorcycle Police there on the last weekend, both days. Limit goes 80km-60-50 bam nail you...it's like catching fish in a barrel.

MOSCROP AND WILLINGDON across from the secondary school. Cops hiding in the corner with their laser guns. 30km/hr zone! Watch out!

Do those electronic boards that display your speed actually send information on specific vehicles to the RCMP/VPD?

Because I have my speedometer calibrated properly, and one local sign is displaying a speed 10kph faster than what I'm actually cruising at (53 > 63).

Its a bluff. If RCMP/VPD were to be able to receive such info, those things would essentially be speed cameras, which are not allowed in Canada ATM.

Could have easily been a vehicle beside / behind you. Unless you're 100% sure you were the only car in sight at that time....
