Yeah I saw them hidding at WILLINGDON and LOUGHEED - northbound on willingdon
When the light turns red and everyone comes to a stop they get out of their hidding spot (in the gas station - Esso on the right) and come around the cars and look at people inside the car to check if they're on their phone and seatbelts.
I thought it was like a hobo or someone looking to steal shit (I'm from a 3rd world country) so I was like wtf is this person doing and it was a cop LOL

They also do this SB on Willingdon at the Chevron station (Willingdon and Canada Way)

there is speed traps on ioco every weekend

I'm sure you guys know about South East Marine & Elliott . Cops are moving down a block by South East Marine and Jellicoe , there is a bus stop ( one of the walk in ones) they hide behind the glass.

If it haven't been mentioned, cops always at kingsway and boundary, they hide near the ally below kingsway sushi and walks up to check for cell phones.

Yup, I got pulled there twice in my 21 years of driving.

They are out there the last few days at this spot, saw them passing out VI's to commercial trucks

In terms of radar detectors, what's the best option if we are driving within BC? Can I get away with an older Passport 9500?

Radar detectors don't really help much since speed cops all use lazer now.

I have a Valentine V1 set up in my car. Got it because it works well for me and is pretty intuitive to use.

Not a speed trap, but trucker strike.
Trucks have blocked the HOV lane westbound on the Port Mann bridge.
I can hear the honking in my office and now the news choppers are flying overhead.

Just a head up. Speed traps on Maryhill bypass between Broadway and Kingsway, on a regular basis. Either direction.

Occasionally, they're between Pitt and Shaughnessy, westbound.
