a lot of ppl sitting right in the middle of the run @ collins. These ppl are just sitting there chit chatting and hanging out..pisses me off.

if they are beginners and they fell down in the middle of the run and cant get up, i can understand that. But if they are just sitting there and chit chatting, then they need to GTFO.

There's always lots of ppl at Collins. I didn't hit up skychair myself, but there is definitely less ppl on Panorama and Horizon/Rainbow

conditions at cypress were great today
there was some powder, lots of ice, but its not so horrendously bad that anyone should avoid it
got busy around 2-3... died down after that

What? Really? Since when? That sucks, as Panorama used to be awesome at night.

Well I'm cypress right now, was snowing earlier but it's stopped now, getting a little busy especially on the easy runs, but if your on blue square or black diamond it's not bad at all, lines aren't excessive either, food prices are though

The past couple times I've gone night boarding, it's been closed.

cypress was good, mix of icy patches and soft snow. A few runs had a lot of bare spots with rocks though, rainbow was especially terrible, horizon had some shitty spots especially after it merges w/ humpty dumpty. But it was snowing pretty good when i left so hopefully theyll have a few more cm tomorrow.

Lion chair got pretty busy by around 2-3 the raven ridge and eagle express both only had one run open (panorama and crazy raven) although there were no line ups at either.

I would also suggest for anyone going to cypress to get the ski card from a bell store, it only costs about $2 more than a peak period lift ticket ($55), but your first lift ticket is free so its practically free, and after that you get 20% off for the rest of the season.

Just got home from Cypress. It was snowing pretty hard when we left. Hopefully it continues to.

Timeline D: February 1 to March 8

Ski Area (alpine and nordic) Closed to the Public for Olympic Games Preparation, Competition and wrap up.

No access to the Alpine or Nordic areas.

http://cypressmountain.com/2010-impacts

although bear in mind the ski card more than pays for itself after the second use, so it you plan on going to cypress more than once its well worth it. They also have overall reduced rates this season regardless.

Quick questions about the skicard.

Does it have my name on it?

If so, can I buy myself and a friend discount lift tickets on the same day? Or is it limited to 1 discount lift ticket perday (ie. 1 ticket for me).

If no, same question as above, is there a limit on how many discount lift tickets per day?

It does have your name on it, and when you do use it you also have to provide a secondary ID. They also don't replace it, so if you lose it, it is GG.
