did you look for animal foot prints? |
That's how my lawn looks like now! It's the damn crows... isn't it? |
looks like animals, i just cant see a bunch of kids putting that kind of effort these days just to fuck up ur lawn |
I just watched the movie The Soloist with Robert Downey Jr. and Jamie Foxx, Robert's character has an issue with raccoons tearing up his lawn looking for worms to eat. his lawn looks like that. The solution he tries in the movie is buying coyote urine, which is supposed to scare them off. Although in the movie he spills the bag of urine all over him. |
thats fucked.. that looks like fairly established grass, its not newly laid sod but i wouldnt think it would be a person because unless you were being carefull with a shovel it would be a fairly delicate process to rip just the top layer of grass out like that |
prob a start of a crop circle |
there's a million better ways to vandalize your property than tearing up your lawn. who the hell says "hehehe, im going to tear his lawn up! that'll show him.." |

My favorite way is,go to the house in the middle of the night while everyone is sleeping, take the persons waterhose, shove it in the mailslot and turn the water on. Nothing like waking up in the morning to a indoor swimming pool. |
Your last name is Backyard? That's awesome. |
I think it might be animal (raccoons) since the piece of lawn pulled out is large. If it's crows, it'll be small scattered bits of grass (unless crows have figured out a way to work as a team) When I image googled "RACOON lawn" I found this: http://www.rhen.org/images/Raccoon%20Damage.jpg |
There's no way that's done by crows!! Either by people or by larger animals. |
You guys have to be kidding me? You are blaming birds for this? Birds will leave small clumps of grass and dirt and there will be a ton of holes around it. The dirt is clean, looks ripped right off by a garden tool. I've recently pulled out all my grass in my backyard and that's pretty much what it looked like. Either jokesters were screwing your lawn up, or a fairly large animal was clawing at the grass. Most likely the jokesters since no animal that size would look for anything underground. |
just scatter a bunch of rat poison on ur lawn for the animals |
its a UFO landing .....or a black/brown bear... thats the only animal i can think of that could claw up your lawn like that |
why do people think that an ANIMAL can tear up the sod/lawn in a STRAIGHT line, throw everything to the side, and pull it all off UNIFORMLY as a net shape? are you all fucking morons? show me an animal(s) that does this: http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/4685/img2210e.jpg not only that, but all the gouges are of uniform depth. |
^ show me a human who is going to bend over and physically pull up a layer of grass like that or use a shovel and carefully peel back grass like that just to fuck with somone? those skunk pictures look similar |
i don't care about your fails, i failed myself. don't think that bothers me. obviously the person didn't pick up each piece, dickweed. look at my first post. |
its the RACOONS i went out few nights ago around 5am nothing happened yet but when i came home at 8am it was fucked up... 4th time happen to me :( |
Maybe it's raccoons with gardening tools? |
My front yard looks like that too!!! The houses on either side of us also have it too, but it seems like we got it the worst. At first we thought it was just a big dog in the neighborhood but now we're starting to think it was a racoon or something. It's weird though because it's the first time it's ever happened to our yard and I've seen tons of raccoons and even skunks hanging around the streets in our area late at night and we never had problems before. |

I used to be a stupid ass retard teenager. I have done some stupid things, but I don't think I would ever do this. And like posters above, you would get dirty and crap. Not worth the thrill if you ask me. must be a combo of some nasty crows/night dwellers. |
