it's done by raccoon's, I caught some on my lawn digging up the grass around 10-11pm, i believe their looking for food most likely worms or something, there were two of them

It's raccoons. My neighbor has the same problem as you do. If the lawn is not taken care of properly, it's more common to have more bugs such as worms living in it thus the raccoons wanting to dig it up your lawn.

i own a landscaping business and frequently tear up lawns and if that was done by an animal please catch it, box it up, and send it to me. it looks like it works harder than some of my employees.

i know personally, when people piss me off... I go to their house when they're sleeping and go ape shit on their lawn
