who wants a new s2000? There are a couple left and if you want to get one at a sweet deal. PM me for the last ones in all of BC. |
+1 to that. Carter still has a white one in showroom, with slashed pricing. its insane. |
How slashed? S2Ks were a bit of a ripoff to begin with... 50k for 160 lb-ft of torque? you can pick up an evo or sti with money to spare... fuck and the fuel economy rating 11.8L/100km, i thought hondas were supposed to be good on gas, a wrx is rated the same and weighs more with more power/torque and awd... |
^ OH EM GEE....CANT BELIF U CARR S2000 FASTEST CAR IN DER WERLD RIPOFF!!! IM SOOOO....FRIK'N....PISSED |

completely diff cars with completely diff feel. honestly, would it be funner experience to drive a S2000 or a evo X..? S2000 would be a much more entertaining car to drive. the way it just feels alone is second to none out there nowadays. numbers dont mean a thing to people seeking a nice fun sports car. |

if numbers dont matter....f430 scuderia > s2000 |

Nobody buys a HONDA for the torque. You buy one for a lot of reasons, but torque was never one of them. There are plenty of other reasons to buy an S2K Evo? STi? Those are turbocharged. Those are 4 door AWD sedans. Apples to oranges. Why would you compare that to a roadster that's obviously a niche vehicle? As for fuel economy, I get around 12.5/100 kms in my S2K with daily driving around the city. Find me an STi owner who gets the same. Good luck to you sir. |
theyre a completely different class of cars. =.= we're comparing... apples, oranges, and grapes. s2000's feels like high winding go karts. |
OP created a thread about s2k clearance..not for you to find con's about the car to whine about |
yea cant really compare s2k to 4wd 4doors. love the s2k tho |
Most people bashing the s2k have probably never owned or driven an s2k before which is why they look at specs and don't know the feel of one of these cars. But these are amazing cars and there are a lot of s2k owners out there that love this car. |

if any given person likes the driving feel of s2000's and does have 50k to shell out to buy one, they will buy it. buying cars mainly by performance number and street stats is a such a fan boy thing to do. this thread is about buying new left over s2000's. not other cars. so just stfu. |
^It's is a very fun car to drive too, thats for sure. Got a chance to drive a few myself and its awesome. |
People who bash on the S2000 obviously don't get what the car is about. The car is about more than the sum of its parts (high rev, convertible) Its a focused and no compromise sports car in a market where its competition have fallen short to appeal to a wider market to make more money. Sure the S2000 is not a great success in terms of sales volume and I don't expect it to be. In terms of outright performance, it is not the best either. Not a lot of people can life with a 9000rpm track ready car everyday. It have enough torque for what its made to do, and that is on the track. Its the accumulation of all of Honda's CARTing experience and expertise put together in a street legal package so people who enjoy driving race cars can get a taste of it. If you think about it like that, $50,000 CAD is a bargain because arguably none of its rivals can do the same (350Z, TT, Z4, SLK,) I think many years down the road when people look back at this, they'll realize that this car is such a gift from Honda and sure to be missed. |
