Mine was a slush box too, but I drove it like a manual.. LOL
it was supposed to be a ford taurus for me (company discount or else i would have ended up in a hyundai... sigh), but the one i was supposed to get was damaged the day before so i was "upgraded".

maybe the mustang i had was thrashed...

Yeah, I rent from Hertz when I travel in the US all the time. Particularly in Vegas and the Bay Area. I've rented a V6 Mustang twice.. Kinda slow but on Las Vegas Blvd, how fast can you go? Other times, I've rented the Mustang GTH, Corvette HZH and the Corvette convertible. Depending on the location, they have other cars as well. I've seen 370Z's at their San Francisco airport location.

Well, i just got word the 2010 mustangs are all built out. No more 2010 mustangs unless it's already at the dealership or on the train on the way to the dealership.

If you do a factory order, it's gonna be a 2011! Nows I just gotta find out if they will honor 2010 incentives on 2011s.. (probably not)

i went to look at one, not the best quality build. on the 45k GT, the passenger seat ratchet came off when i tried to adjust it. the seatbelt holder that holds it to the B pillar came off and tried to strangle me.
good to hear though that it will compete with maro's base model.
