You got reply.
I saw that Jubilee Cycles had an ad in the Burnaby Now stating 30% off some accessories til Jan 4th. I dropped by and just looked in through the window, didn't seem to be a sale on anything..

just hitting the weights hard. nothing keeps you in riding shape except more riding bro.
although I do a lot more leg work at the gym too the usual squats, front/side lunges, etc, and my personal favorite pistol squats on a bosu. i'm confident that i can produce moar power now but i fully expect to limp home like a lil biatch for the first few rides of spring.

45 mins of indoor trainer w/ intervals. 15mins warm up - 30secs sprint - 1 min rest (10 rounds) - then 15mins cool down.

Any of you part of a riding club?

I did the Gran Fondo the last two years, and want to improve my time to 4.5 hours and think that it would be easier riding with other people.

I do almost all my long rides Saturday mornings, starting at 5 to 6am. Do any of the group rides start this early?

Nice bike. It belongs to one of the staff members at la bici

I actually want to consider this for a commuter bike ... But I don't think a single speed / fixed gear is good enough to double as both a full time commuter and winter bike for me..

i don't see why not. i guess your top speed would just be capped on the flats (assuming you're hammering at a crazy cadence). depends on the gear ratio i suppose.

i haven't had any issues with speed but you might :P

Hey guys, anyone looking for a hitch or bike rack to fit onto their vehicle?

HitchnGear.com is closing out, and is having a big clearance sale this weekend at their Richmond location. I'll probably go take a look...as I just bought my new hitch on eBay. Live and burn...

Thanks for the heads up. Was looking into getting a hitch set-up w/ bike attachment for my car. If you go, how's the stock? Fairly limited and ravaged already?

I haven't gone yet, so no idea what's left. There is an inventory list on their website of what they have and it's fairly long, but most items, they only have 1 or 2. I'm hoping nobody buys the bike rack that I want!!

Bici is having a sale on their bikes again. On top of sale price they are giving free Kurt kinetic trainer and also free pedals.

$2k for an r3 105, trainer, pedals, bike fit is a good deal!

Perfect timing.....just bought a bike a month ago and was looking for a bike rack. Ended up with the Yakima Quickback 2. for $130, which was 50% off MSRP!
