I like to Ride my Bicycle...

Heres a shot of my mini stretch springer

Its super fun in traffic and gets me around light to light quicker than my mtn bike or bmx

I usually only ride local to my own area but sometimes head downtown if theres somewhere to go

anyone else got any shots of their sunny day whips?

racerman88 12-05-2009 03:29 PM

I like to ride mine around but I haven't touched it since August. Riding through traffic IS fun.

When I first got it. Now the stem is flipped, slk saddle and clipless. super simple super sweet to ride...if you can handle the hills. hahaha

maxxxboost 12-10-2009 12:42 AM

Always work fridays but my brother and buddies go.
I go night riding after 11pm though!

Where does everyone go riding?
I usually go from Adanac to the seawall, around, and back.

cvcdx 12-13-2009 02:13 PM

Night riding is Fun

i have a pretty dope spot 2 mins away from my house in a wooded tree area that has a circut style track with big bumps and natural doubles... i can take a pic if anyone is interested in seeing it

... still want a fixie

_Hotsauce_ 12-13-2009 02:30 PM

Bike

Here's my Road bike, not super fancy but it's very comfy for 30-40k rides, which is my max atm. Only cost about $1200 new. I don't really understand why people like fixed gear setups though :(

fixies are for cycling purists... nothing compares to riding something that only equiped a seat, handle bars and no brakes*optional*... i wouldn't recomend it for an entry level rider... nice dirt jumper, i still have a norco 125 with long travel judys for dirt jumps and urban skreet riding

bmxing is cool if you're good at it. if you're over 25 and bmx and cant do anything cool then its kinda wrong. like being an old skateboarder that can barely ride. otoh, tony hawk who is like 40, is cool.

I have been riding bmx since I was 13,I think I'm pretty good at it,I mainly ride street and sometimes skateparks, won't ride trails or dirt anymore.

I can do wallrides, huge bunnyhops,360 off jumps, grinds, pull a wheelie for a block, bench grinds, the usual stuff,I don't go too crazy anymore, falling on concrete hurts alot more than it use to.

Funny this thread has popped uP again because I just started riding a bike to work. I borrowed a Fuji track classic off a freind and I'm loving it.
