i've never used butt balm before - probably because i've never experience discomfort or i just don't know i'm experiencing it.

is it worth investing in a jar or should i just hold off?

If u don't chaf at all don't bother

For me my skins sensitive to friction. There's certain seams that are uncomfortable on certain bibs.

Agreed. I don't know if you're all ballers or something, but the cheap Filzer stuff from MEC works just fine for me. Or sometimes I'll just use Body Glide. Some people just use vaseline for ultimate economy.

Makes sense. The previous owner did use the bike for Ironman.

Did some maintenance on the bike and took it out for it's first ride!


I'm not sure what it is, but the size works perfectly for me, albeit the seat height is a little low. I'm able to pedal so much more efficiently on this size "medium" and did NOT struggle on any hill climbs!

Scary part was that the front wheel is out of true haha I gotta get that serviced. Otherwise, awesome frame and bike!

nice ride man! i was gona say seat is a bit low but if it's comfy then so be it! maybe slam the stem to get more saddle/bar drop?

i've been stalling on getting my bike fitted these past two months. i've tried and tried to replicate my last fit to no avail. can't achieve dat natural position.

oh and i'm happy to report...i've been clean of cycling purchases for over a month now. it's hard to stay off the stuff but i feel like i'm just taking this one day at a time, y'kno? rapha keeps sending me emails pushin their evils on me but i have to muster up the will power to say no!

anyone with shimano STI levers experiencing a loud click or clunk when moving from big ring to small on the front derailleur? This is driving me crazy.

Your front derailleur might need some fine-tuning. Do you still work at Brian Jessel BMW? If so, you can swing by my place as I have a repair stand. I don't live too far away. I can help you out with it.

which one would to get for max performance?
fulcrum racing zero, zipp 101 or boyd vitesse?

all loaded up for whistler about two weeks ago. i proceeded to break both my hands riding that day. now im off the bike for atleast 6 weeks.

Maybe the hills you were climbing weren't actually steep? I looked over Argon18's geometry for a buddy of mine, their medium is definitely on the bigger side. Their small is a traditional 51-53

You scored a good deal on the bike and parts!
