| Female armed robber stripped, beaten and set alight by lynch mob

A Guatemalan woman who was accused of trying to rob a city bus was stripped naked to the waist and savagely beaten by a lynch mob in the middle of the street.
Alejandra Maria Torres and three men allegedly robbed the bus and as she was trying to escape, passengers stripped and beat her before dousing her in petrol and setting her on fire.
Police were able to reach Torres and put out the flames just in time.
Her three accomplices escaped the mob.
