If anyone sees a great deal on 23-24" 1080p monitors please PM me, ~$200.

BB/FS has 1 good deal each, yet they are subpar monitors. I can get better for regular price on TigerDirect.

Dell.ca has decent 1080p monitor for around $200. http://accessories.dell.com/sna/prod...1&sku=320-8299

I have a DELL S2309W that has a Samsung panel in it. It's colours aren't that great compared to the 4-year old DELL S-IPS panel (LG Phillips) I have at work.

DELL's panels come from other manufacturers, as do many company's panels.
You can try searching for your panel here: http://www.flatpanelshd.com/panels.php

I hope Summit Tools has a good Boxing Day sale, too. Waiting for all the flyers to show up.

BTW, I'm looking for a 1T (or larger) Western Digital external hard drive. Hopefully under 100 bucks. Gotta store my porn somewhere, LOL.

FS has Iomega 1TB external HDD for 79.99

on the other note what kind of deals are we going to see at Mopac on Boxing day? The drive from Richmond to Mopac is worth some money on its own so exactly what kind of deal can we get? I might go score some Autometer stuff and oil sandwich plate for my ride if it's gonna be worth the drive.

Thanks!

Costco has it for $219 right now, and would include the Costco 2yr warranty.

tiger_handheld 12-23-2009 04:07 PM

MG1 12-23-2009 05:28 PM

IIRC, Mopac sale is 20% off everything in the store......... something like that, but not 100% sure on the discount.

Can someone who's been to one recently confirm this?

jmanhas 12-23-2009 06:00 PM

The people that run Mopac are a bunch of pieces of crap.

spoon.ek9 12-23-2009 06:40 PM

maybe they're serious about the dec 24th 4pm thing

edit: read the email, man i hate the "too low to show" thing, it's such a gimmick sometimes.

Perhaps, but most of the sales guys are pretty good - at least to me. I've never had a problem with them.

They know their stuff and they''re at the track themselves and they're also big sponsors of MRP. Not like those businesses that never give back to the community. Nuff said........

Futureshop allows you to i believe.. (price-protect meaning price match?)

Last year some guy priced matched about 7-10 different items at futureshop.. held up my line for like 30minutes to pay that douche.. but i think he saved quite a bit..probably lol..

murd0c 12-23-2009 07:49 PM

price-protect != price match.

Price protect, meaning to buy the item at regular price before the sale starts, then to head down on boxing day to ask for money back since the price of the item is lower due to the sale.

i'd be willing to bet it's almost impossible to do that with doorcrasher items

or perhaps they hide all the doorcrasher items in the back until the the 26th...
